Project description
Spend 12 months as a volunteer in the capital of Slovakia helping in 2 organizations (Mladiinfo Slovensko and FooTour) if you are between 18-30 years young person coming from EU countries passionate to connect the volunteering abroad with a responsible traveling. Activities for the volunteer: Research on the sustainable/responsible tourism in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine; Mapping of sites: suitable for coworking in nature:(eco) farms, sustainable accommodation according to agreed conditions; Mapping and contacting partners: experts on responsible tourism; Online research, contacting, networking; Local research, visits, and the sites ranking; Photo/video documentation, reporting; Organizing seminars on responsible tourism and promotion of volunteering (schools, universities, companies); Research on the best examples of responsible/sustainable travel; Research on the academic articles on responsible tourism – approaching relevant institutions
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Following costs will be covered from Erasmus+ programme: Accommodation, Food, Pocket money, Insurance, Travel, Language course, Support of supervisor, Personal mentor.
Volunteer profile
Candidates profile Individuals aged 18-30 coming from EU countries; Enthusiastic and positive, who dare to try the things out; Have basic graphic design skills (not a condition), or photography and video making, or knowledge in online marketing or IT skills (webpages, etc.) and editing skills (not a condition); Result orientated, complex thinking; ability to see opportunities; detail orientated; creative; enthusiasm for a sustainable lifestyle; reliability and persistence.
